The Supervisory Board of Delta Lloyd has appointed Rob Ruijter as Chairman of the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 October 2015. He will succeed Jean Frijns, who will step down on that same date. The Supervisory Board is expected to nominate a candidate to fill the vacancy resulting from Jean Frijns’s departure during the next shareholders meeting. Further details will follow in the usual manner.
The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of Delta Lloyd are very thankful for Jean Frijns’s commitment and valuable contribution to Delta Lloyd. Rob Ruijter has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2014. At present, his duties on the Supervisory Board include serving as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee and Risk Committee. He is a highly experienced executive with a broad range of (financial) competencies. Ruijter has served as CFO and CEO of large enterprises, including listed companies.
