Huron Consulting Group recently announced that John Loveland has joined the Company as a managing director in its Huron Legal practice. Loveland will help clients reduce and mitigate the risks associated with the proliferation of data and information assets.
“As data breaches become more prevalent, most organizations are increasing their focus on protecting their information assets, and developing or strengthening their data privacy and security programs,” said Bob Rowe, executive vice president, Huron Legal. “John’s background in information governance and e-discovery will help us arm our clients with the most efficient ways to manage, store, and leverage information while reducing costs and mitigating risk of a breach.”
A pioneer in the electronic discovery and information risk management disciplines, Loveland has led global teams in dozens of complex litigation matters, fraud and corruption investigations and intellectual property disputes. Over his career, he has developed numerous proprietary risk assessment and strategy methodologies in the areas of discovery readiness, cyber risk, domestic and global regulatory compliance, and data remediation. Loveland joins Huron from iRISK Strategies, a firm he founded to deliver integrated legal, business and technology solutions to enterprise customers for information governance, litigation, and investigations.
